The children of Dajabon, Dominican Republic and Quanamithe, Haiti live in unthinkable, impoverished, and deprived conditions.

They struggle everyday with their poverty.

BUT, this last summer they received some special attention, some extra love and affection, good food, and lots of fun!

At the same time, they had a chance to learn about our awesome God and how much he loves them.

SUMMER CAMP – A BIG SUCCESS!

Previously we’ve  had over 170 impoverished children from Haiti and the Dominican Republic attend our summer camp. This included some deaf children from both countries.

It was a big task considering we had to accommodate four languages (English, Spanish, Haitian Creole and Sign Language), three cultures (American, Dominican, Haitian) along with all the normal logistics of any camp.

The children enjoyed the days that they were fed 3 times each day, with snacks and drinks in-between.

The camp was an overwhelming time with love and affection from our American team of 27 adults, and our Dominican team of 24 adults.
