While Touching Lives Worldwide is “touching lives” throughout the world, you can participate by volunteering to go with us either as an individual, a family, a church group, or as an organization. Our mission trips are usually for only one week; however, there are a few occasions whereas the trips maybe for a longer period of time.

We currently have opportunities in Port Au Prince, Haiti, or Dajabon, Dominican Republic, or Quanamithe, Haiti. Our assembled “Hope Teams” will be involved in serving God by giving their gift of time and unique talents in a meaningful way of serving others. This will include, but is not limited to, such activities as: evangelism, construction, medical and dental assistance, teaching, prayer walks, food and/or water distribution. All members of our “Hope Team” will return to their homes feeling that they received so much more than they gave because of their special experience of making a “real difference” in someone’s life.

New Hope Children’s Refuge of Haiti

Even before the great earthquake on January 12, 2010, Haiti had thousands of homeless children. Now the situation is unbelievably worse than ever. There are many more little children deprived of food, shelter, affection, protection, and education. Poverty is a silent prison that needs no walls and no chains; it locks in without options and without hope.

But, it doesn’t have to be that way if people, like you, extend a “helping hand.” Through the New Hope Children’s Refuge of Haiti, you can touch some of these children’s lives and make a real difference.

Mission School for the Deaf

In a town that sits on the Haiti border that is known as Dajabon, Dominican Republic, we have a mission school for deaf children. It is typical for deaf children to grow up not knowing their name or age. They are treated as outcasts, and often one or both of their parents reject them as being their child.

Since there are thousands of deaf children in the Dominican Republic and Haiti, our special school provides new hope and a new life for some of these lonely and abused children.
